My name is Brittney E Harris. I am from the simply beautiful island of Saint Lucia. At the age of 8, my family and I emigrated to the United States, where we lived in Texas for 3 years and thereafter moved to Morrow, Georgia.
In 2008, I graduated from Forest Park High School with honors. There, I was a member of Honor's Chorus, Future Business Leaders of America, and National Technical Honor's Society.
In July 2008, I traveled over 5,000 miles to the beautiful island of Hawaii where I obtained a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology at Chaminade University of Honolulu. I was selected as the outstanding graduate by the faculty and staff of the Education Division. I currently hold a membership with Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society and Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education.
I've completed my student-teaching requirements with an awesome group of third grade students at Red Oak Elementary in Stockbridge, Georgia. I got the opportunity to work with a tremendously experienced teacher, Mrs. Fearon, who has been teaching since 1982.
I recently got accepted to Capella University. On February 4th, 2012 I will begin coursework towards my Master's in Psychology with a Specialization in Child and Adolescent Development.
